All the staff at the Paradise Club Boston USA. A special thank you to Melissa Taylor at Interscope for arranging the photo pass, with smiles ..................
All the staff at the Casbah in San Diago a special thank you. Probably the best small venue in the world
.. Probably
I would like to say thank you to the Philadelphia Free Library for letting me gain internet access via their library computer system while I stayed in Philadelphia during April 2004.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of the managers, bands, security, record companies, promoters, venues, festival sites, newspapers, magazines and music websites that have made this all possible.
All the staff at the Rookwood Music Hall New York, Petes Candy Store Brooklyn and The Mercury Lounge New York. 2008
This has to be the coolest photo pass ever issued. It was to cover Snow Patrol at the Paradise club in Boston USA. With smiles .. Of course .... and thank yous to the pass issuing artist.
The loudest gig that I ever photographed at without earplugs was ladyfest 03 at The Garage in London. It was a loose collection of female bands with the single intention of being louder then the pervious band ending with Kat Bjelland. It was serious hard core and very, very LOUD. Military people call it " Shock and Awe ". Medical people call it " White Noise" . I just call it insane
. Then I discovered those industrial standard yellow earplugs and calm has been restored.
So Thank you Aearo Ltd of Stockport UK. For making those chunky yellow foam things that I shove into my ears.
I acknowledge the Guildford Festival as the most hassle free laid back vibe I have ever photoed at.
All the staff and crew at the Little Civic, Civic and Wulfrun Halls in Wolverhampton. UK
Martin Grosvenar. London UK . The best Tour Manager I have ever had the pleasure to work under.
A special thank you to Kurt Pagen Davis ( Warner Bros ) for all of those life enlightening moments and the Leftfield Stage at Glastonbury.
Ryan Adams and the Sweetheart Revolution European Tour wasn't just another photo pass to peel off and throw away to misplace after or hand to a music fan, stuck kindly to the back of a set list as one leaves the gig. It was more like a work of art. Laminated and everything
First time that I did both photo and press jobs at a gig
its an insane amount of pressure. Fortunately both words and photos have long since disappeared into that void called the media. All I can remember about this night was stuffing the negs and the words through the letter box at the Express + Star newspaper in the pouring rain at 4 in the morning. One week later and everything passed over to digital. Alleviating the need to physically transport film for editing. A shame really as it was kind of a rights of passage. A friendly wave from the night watchman marked the end of an era.
S - T - G = Shiny Toy Guns London 2006
Telegramme. Probably the best of the new crop of Birmingham UK based bands
Sound engineer, John Soares on station at the New York Bowery Ballroom sound desk.

A big thank you to the Gutter Twins for the photo pass and an equally big thanks to the security staff at Nottinghams ( UK ) Rescue Rooms.
